Taylor turned 6 today and her mom had a family/friend party at McD's. All of Bethany's children were invited and Taylor's babysitter and some of her classmates came, along with Steven and I and Taylor's other grandparents. It was a nice time and I think Tay had a good time. . . we got LOTS of hugs. We miss her tons.

Great Pumpkin Give Away

Every year, there's a free pumpkin give away and this year, it was in a new location. It was much bigger so many more folks could come, and they did! It was insane how much humanity was in one spot. . and half the ward was on hand! HA. . we had a fun time, it wasn't even that cold, and the children thought it was the best! Take Time To Vote!!

As we get closer to election day, I would just like to take a moment to ask all of you to research the issues and the candidates, to ponder the outcome of each and then pray for guidance to know who should be our next President. There is so much at stake this time for our families and our children's futures. Our household is firmly behind McCain/Palin and I can only hope that this country will follow suit and elect them in Nov. We don't need more taxes. We need to win and finish the war on terror and support our troops. We need to drill for oil and get the economy going again. We need to get the good guys in the White House again, and I really worry about the prospect of having BO in there. Vote your conscience...mine tells me its McCain/Palin this time!
